Bed was comfortable, room clean.
Hotel could use some updating. The bathroom tub was really beat and had markings in the tub that were worn. Would have liked wifi in the room, not just lobby.
Overall it was a great visit to your Inn, the dinners & breakfast were outstanding and the service was great. We will come again if we could stay on the first floor because my wife has a bad hip
The things that were not up to par would be in room 213: (1) the toilet kept running unless you forced the handle up, (2) the shower was unpredictable for temperature and the pressure was light ( could be a water saver )
Had a wonderful room and the breakfasts were good. The front desk person "Grace" was a sweetheart, helpful and knowledgable. Rooms we were in were very nice!!! Over all very Nice.
I do wish the rooms had a mini refrige and microwave, wife would always like a coffee maker but the rooms were very nice/modern in the area were we stayed. I
We have stayed at Hershey Farm somewhere between 10 and 15 times over the past years. We have found it to be clean, comfortable, hospitable, and cozy. We like being off the highway..it gives us a chance to walk around. The buffet breakfast is delicious.
location to Sight and Sound family friendly great buffet for breakfast
Location and ameneties
Difficulty getting out of driveway when going against traffic
Family oriented atmosphere.
The cigarette ashtray was located just outside our hotel door. The smell was over-powering when exited our room.
The staff was pleasant and tried to satisfy/ The restaurant was very nice and we had good service. The location was very good for our needs.
The grounds were very beautiful and were well kept/
It was clean and the furniture was nice.
The room was clean but run down. The carpet needed cleaned or replaced. The toilet seat was chipped, the wall paper was peeling in spots, the sitting area consisted of 2 chairs stuffed into the opposite corners of the room, the mattress was saggy, the outside doors with the air conditioning unit next to it allowed the cigarette smoke of the people sitting outside to seep into our room. There were numerous other shabby things in the room and I was very disappointed in it. We expected to stay in the nice facility on the property not the run down one.
Conveinience to SIGHT AND SOUND.
Carpet needed replacement; sofa had no cushion, only springs to sit on; lighting was poor (low wattage bulbs and no three way bulbs); TV remote was not that which goes with the TV set (most functions did not work); Presidential suite is not worth the cost ($190+). List was provided to the Inn at checkout. More than likely, we will not be staying here in the future.
We visit Lancaster about once a year ... we stop at Hershey Farm every visit. (to shop and eat). It has always been part of our "tradition"
We visit Lancaster about once a year ... we stop at Hershey Farm every visit. (to shop and eat). This is the first time we stayed there 3days, 2 nights. This visit we were alittle disappointed in the food. (especially dinner for the price) The past has always been "garden Fresh" and this visit it didnt seem to be
they treat you like family , and make you fell like you belong there, great down to earth respect for people, not up front fake glad your here because it's my job
We first stayed there about 18 years ago and again about 14 years ago and last time just a few days ago. Either we do not remember correctly or you have expanded to such a point that it feels very exploitive and kind of tacky....somehow, we have always stayed in the blue building and it has not been updated...chairs uncomfortable, toilet looked like it may overflow at any moment (it did not but we feared it) the staff were great and breakfast incredible as always....we may eat breakfast there again but not stay there.
